Jui is the Managing Partner at Next Point, where she leads the firm’s operations and heads the Mergers & Acquisitions division. Specializing in strategic exits for the industrial, medical, and dental sectors, Jui guides business and medical practice owners through the complex process of planning and executing successful exits. She combines high-level strategy with practical execution to ensure a seamless transition for her clients.

Her background includes a unique blend of corporate experience working with Fortune 100 companies in financial planning, joint venture management, and risk mitigation, as well as years of entrepreneurial experience. Jui leverages this expertise to advocate for her clients, ensuring they are informed and confident throughout every phase of the deal. Her experience as an entrepreneur gives her a deep understanding of the challenges her clients face, and she works diligently to represent their best interests, aligning strategies with their unique objectives.

Jui’s passion lies in serving as a trusted partner to her clients, helping them make informed decisions and transition from their businesses with confidence. With nearly two decades of experience and hundreds of successful transactions, she is known for developing exit strategies that not only maximize value but also safeguard her clients’ long-term goals.

She holds an MBA in Finance and, is a certified M&A Advisor (CM&AA) and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA)

Dean "Rocky" Rockwell

A.K.A. “Rocky,” a Next Point Founding Partner, heads up our Mergers & Acquisitions practice. He has a true entrepreneurial background having owned, operated, and sold multiple businesses of his own.

Rocky has over 35 years of experience facilitating M&A transactions, having completed over 300, involving both private and publicly held companies, on a national and international basis. He has been particularly successful in selling metal manufacturing companies to strategic buyers.

Rocky is both process and client-oriented from start to finish. He has a history of making business owners comfortable throughout the M&A process. He feels strongly that open and direct communication with clients and parties on both sides of a transaction is the best approach for a chance at a successful outcome.

By highlighting factors that are often overlooked, Rocky has an ability to frame the value proposition of a transaction in such a way that both sides are better able to appreciate the synergies that a sale or acquisition will bring to their existing operations. He helps owners to see the other side’s perspective of the transaction and using his process he is able to both enhance deal value and improve the likelihood of closing the transaction.

Cathy Willig

Cathy Willig has been a member of the Next Point LLC team since the inception of the partnership in 2004. She not only performs a wide variety of administrative functions, but she also plays a vital role in supporting the Mergers and Acquisitions group and is responsible for preparing the Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM).

Cathy is a key team member involved with project management, marketing, data room management, bookkeeping, reception, and office management, along with her role in various client matters, including maintaining client communication.

Dr. Peter Michael Tan

DDS, MSHS, FACD, FICD

Dr. Peter Michael Tan is a renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over three decades of office and hospital experience spanning private practice associateship, solo practitioner, group practice owner/partner, academician, consultant, professional societies/associations President and a remarkable Army career spanning 36 years of selfless service to our nation. He currently serves as the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA), an appointed 3-Star protocol advisor to the Secretary of the Army. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital.

Dr. Tan was a founding owner/partner of a major private surgical practice in Maryland, serving multiple generations of patients across several states and the District of Columbia. His practice, which he retired from after 30 years in 2019, was known for its compassionate care and exceptional expertise in their hospital and office settings. Dr. Tan has held the highest leadership roles in local, state and national professional societies and associations. He valued his 15 years in academia, including faculty appointments at several institutions including American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology for Emergency Simulations. He has been published numerous times in publications and textbooks. He has also been inducted into several honorary fellowships and received the 2024 American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Humanitarian Award.

Regarding his military career, as part of four generations that have served in uniform, Dr. Tan completed 36 years in the U.S. Army Medical Department (AMEDD) as a Dental Corps officer, achieving the rank of Colonel before his retirement. His decorated military service includes serving as a clinician, Department Chief, Commander and the Reserve Dental Corps Chief, the highest Reserve Dental Corps officer in the Corps, the Office of the Surgeon General and the Pentagon.

In his role with Next Point, Dr. Tan provides critical guidance for medical and dental practitioners navigating practice transitions. His unparalleled experience and strategic insight drive successful, high-impact outcomes, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to achieving excellence in every transition.

Dr. Angela Isaacs is a seasoned professional with over 22 years of experience in the dental and medical sectors. Her deep expertise in practice management, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance positions her as a key resource in guiding dentists through the complexities of buying and selling practices. As a former Dental Director, Dr. Isaacs has a proven track record of driving enterprise initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining financial stability for multiple organizations.

Dr. Isaacs earned her DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy and her MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her experience as a Dental Subject Matter Expert (SME) in medical management systems, coupled with her strategic oversight of utilization management and quality improvement initiatives, underscores her ability to navigate and manage high-stakes transactions.

With a background that includes clinical practice, academic roles, and military service, Dr. Isaacs brings a disciplined, results-driven approach to her work. As part of our M&A team, she is dedicated to helping dentists achieve successful transitions with a focus on maximizing value and ensuring client satisfaction.

Dr. Grace Harriman brings a wealth of business acumen to our M&A team, grounded in her firsthand experience as a successful dental practice owner. After earning her degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completing advanced training in General and Hospital Dentistry at Brookdale University Hospital in New York City, Dr. Harriman quickly recognized the demand for compassionate, patient-centered care. This insight led her to establish a thriving dental office in Philadelphia, which she grew into a multi-specialist practice with eight employed dentists.

Under Dr. Harriman’s leadership, the practice not only became a trusted community resource but also earned her recognition from the mayor of Philadelphia and a spot on Philadelphia’s Top Dentist list. Her ability to understand both the clinical and business aspects of running a dental practice enabled her to build a successful and reputable business, which she sold a few years ago.

Now residing in Maine with her family, Dr. Harriman has shifted her focus to consulting, where she assists private practices in start-up, transition, and empowerment. Her deep understanding of practice dynamics and her own experience in successfully transitioning out of ownership make her an invaluable resource for dentists considering a similar path. Dr. Harriman’s business expertise and dedication to helping others navigate the complexities of practice management and transitions are at the core of her role as an M&A advisor.

Dr. Michael Lazarus

With a career spanning over 30 years in the dental industry, Dr. Lazarus brings a unique and invaluable perspective to our M&A advisory team. Graduating summa cum laude from the University of Connecticut, he honed his clinical skills at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine before embarking on a successful journey in private practice. After growing and managing his own practice for three decades, Dr. Lazarus navigated the complex process of selling to a Dental Support Organization (DSO), where he continued to provide exceptional care for an additional 2.5 years.

Dr. Lazarus’ hands-on experience in both owning and selling a thriving dental practice positions him as an expert guide for dentists considering similar transitions. His deep understanding of the industry, coupled with his passion for mentoring colleagues and helping them navigate their careers, makes him an instrumental asset to our team. Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Lazarus has consistently demonstrated a commitment to community service, providing free dental care to underserved populations and volunteering with the Connecticut Mission of Mercy for over a decade.

Now, as an M&A advisor, Dr. Lazarus is dedicated to helping fellow dentists achieve optimal outcomes in their practice transitions, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience to ensure they are well-prepared for what comes next.
